700 Clark Avenue
St. Louis, Missouri
Opened: 2006 | Capacity: 46,700 | Surface: Grass

  • Busch Stadium opened on April 10, 2006, replacing the previous Busch Memorial Stadium. The new ballpark was built next door to the old one and features a classic design with modern amenities, offering sweeping views of the downtown St. Louis skyline and the iconic Gateway Arch. Since opening, Busch Stadium has hosted multiple postseason games, including memorable World Series runs, and remains a symbol of the Cardinals' proud and storied tradition.

    • View of the Gateway Arch
One of the most iconic features is the stunning view of the Gateway Arch beyond the outfield, tying the stadium to the heart of downtown St. Louis.

    • Championship Plaza
A tribute to the Cardinals' storied history, the plaza near the stadium features plaques and statues honoring Cardinals legends and celebrating the team's many World Series titles.

    • The Budweiser Brew House Rooftop Deck
Fans can enjoy the game from a lively rooftop setting overlooking Ballpark Village with direct sightlines into the stadium.

    • “Big Mac Land”
A section in left field named during Mark McGwire’s legendary 1998 home run chase. Fans in this section have a chance to win prizes if a Cardinals player hits a home run into the area.

    • Cardinals Hall of Fame and Museum
Located in Ballpark Village, it celebrates the greatest players in Cardinals history with exhibits, memorabilia, and interactive experiences.

    • The Manual Scoreboard
In homage to baseball tradition, there's a manually operated out-of-town scoreboard on the right-field wall, giving the park an old-school feel.

    • Signature Red Brick and Archways
The stadium's architecture blends traditional red brick and arch motifs, reflecting the city's historical and cultural ties.

  • The Cardinals have an expansive offering of premium seating. I’ve highlighted a few below, but click here for the full list of available options!

    • CommunityAmerica Cardinals Club: Located directly behind home plate, this exclusive area—often referred to as "the Green Seats"—provides an upscale pregame buffet, full-service bar, and in-seat food and beverage service during the game.

    • Budweiser 703 Club: A newly introduced club in left field on Level 2, the Budweiser 703 Club features enhanced food and beverage options, including house-made stone-fired pizzas, pasta stations, and a full-service bar. The club honors Albert Pujols' 703 home runs and offers a climate-controlled environment with outdoor reserved seating.

    • UMB Champions Club: This climate-controlled club offers an upscale buffet with ballpark fare, carving stations, and full-service bars. Guests can enjoy the game from outdoor reserved seats on Level 2, with access to over 30 TVs inside the club.

    • Legends Club & Premium Legends Club: These clubs provide a suite-level experience with amenities like smoked BBQ brisket, baked penne with chicken, and a full-service bar. The Premium Legends Club includes additional perks such as a chilled shrimp platter upon arrival and an in-game dessert cart.

    • Coca-Cola Scoreboard Patio & Rooftop Deck
Ideal for casual gatherings, these outdoor areas offer a buffet featuring ballpark fare and pulled chicken, along with beer and soft drinks. Guests have reserved seating with views of the game and the stadium.

Seating:

For budget-friendly options, the 400-level Terrace sections are typically the most affordable, especially those located in the outfield corners.

If you're seeking a balance between cost and comfort, the 300-level Pavilion seats behind home plate are a solid choice. They offer a clear view of the game and the iconic Gateway Arch. There is not really a “shaded side” of this stadium, so shade depends on the time of day/year.

Ticket prices can vary based on the opponent, day of the week, and promotional events. It's always a good idea to check the official St. Louis Cardinals ticketing page for the most accurate and up-to-date information.

Parking:

There are several lots and garages within walking distance of Busch Stadium. Fans can also take advantage of the St. Louis Metro system for an easy trek to the ballpark.

Fans can purchase their parking passes in advance on the Cardinals’ website. Do yourself a favor and grab that ahead of time to make your game day as easy as possible!

The map in this section shows a few of the parking lots in the area.

Traditions:

  • The Clydesdales Appearances: The famous Budweiser Clydesdales are St. Louis legends. You’ll sometimes see them parading around the field on Opening Day, during special celebrations, or postseason games. It’s one of those truly “only in St. Louis” moments.

  • Rally Squirrel: During the 2011 National League Division Series against the Phillies, a squirrel famously ran across home plate in the middle of a pitch. The Cardinals ended up winning that game (and eventually the World Series) and the Rally Squirrel became an instant good luck symbol. You’ll still see Rally Squirrel gear at the ballpark today, from t-shirts to plush toys, and fans still celebrate the little squirrel that stole baseball’s spotlight.
