Stadium Spotlight: Truist Park
Truist Park opened in 2017 and is home of the Atlanta Braves. Originally SunTrust Park, this stadium is a fan-friendly, beautiful place to catch a game. Truist Park and the Atlanta Braves are hosting the 2025 MLB All-Star Game, the first such game in Truist Park's short history.
What Makes Truist Park Special?
Located in The Battery Atlanta, Truist Park is more than just a stadium — it’s part of an entertainment district packed with restaurants, shops, and activities for fans. Whether you’re grabbing a bite before the game or celebrating a Braves win afterward, The Battery offers something for everyone. We especially like Live! at The Battery Atlanta, Superica, and Yard House.
I have been to seven games at Truist Park and have even stayed at a few hotels in The Battery Atlanta, like Omni Hotel at The Battery Atlanta and Tru By Hilton Atlanta Galleria Ballpark (this is technically right outside of The Battery, but is an easy walk nonetheless). I love that I can park my car when we arrive on Friday night and not have to drive again until we leave on Sunday after the game!
