Ballpark Bound: The Origin Story
Baseball and travel are two of my favorite things, and Ballpark Bound is a way to bring them together. I’ve always loved going to games, exploring new stadiums, and checking out the different food, traditions, and atmospheres each ballpark offers.
I've been going to games since I was young (my first Major League game was at Riverfront Stadium in Cincinnati in 2002). I have so much fun planning baseball trips and wanted to create a resource to help others do the same. Thus, Ballpark Bound was born.
I grew up watching baseball, keeping up with stats, and enjoying the game in different ways. Over the years, I’ve realized that a baseball trip is more than just the game itself — it’s about the entire experience. The energy of the crowd, the local food, and the city around the stadium all play a part in making a trip memorable.
That’s why I started Ballpark Bound. This site is here to provide stadium reviews, game-day tips, city recommendations, and other helpful info for planning baseball-related travel. Whether you're trying to visit every MLB stadium or just looking for a fun game-day experience on your next trip, I want to make it easier to plan and enjoy.
I also love hearing from other baseball fans about their experiences and favorite stadiums, so I hope this site can be a place to share those stories and recommendations. If you’re planning a baseball trip or just love the game, welcome to Ballpark Bound. I'm so glad you're here!
